Love the red coat – meet author Emma Hooper

I don’t remember if I’ve ever used my portrait photographer skills to photograph a Canadian before. If not then today is a first as I meet  Bath-based author Emma Hooper.

I was commissioned by Alberta University’s alumni magazine New Trail to take some images for an article about her. Emma graduated from Alberta in 2003 and now she is living just outside Bath.

The brief was very simple: some nice portraits of Emma showing the location where she now lives. Emma is also a musician and a keen cyclist so that made for good props. i really enjoy these kind of shoots where you have time to wander and pick and choose places to shoot as and when they feel right. Also having a bright sunny day helps.
